Mixed Caseloads Clinic/Community Based: TBI/Concussion, VOC Rehab, Functional Independence Training, Pain Management

2 years+ general experience required for Mixed Caseloads and VOC rehab

WHAT ARE THE MOST POPULAR VISA OPTIONS?
- The most popular visa is the Essential Skills Visa, all age groups can apply for this visa and you can stay for up to 3 years​
- The Working Holiday Visa, is also an option for certain age groups/passport holders, this visa allows you to work for 12 months, it can be less preferred by some employers
HOW DO I GET REGISTERED?

All experience levels are eligible to apply for registration

The application is portfolio based - there are no exams

You will be able to talk to a UK healthcare professional who has been in your situation and will help you throughout the registration process - including free guides and unlimited phone/email support

The registration process takes a minimum of 4.5 months but the more time you allow the better!
HOW MUCH WILL THIS COST?

The Working Holiday Visa costs NZ $280, For the Working Holiday Visa application, you will need to prove you have NZ $350 in savings for each month you intend to stay in New Zealand AND enough money for a return flight.

The Essential Skills visa costs $495, this does not have any savings requirements, you must have a full-time employment offer and your NZ OT license before you can apply

The OT registration process/license costs NZ $1188 - this is paid directly to the board and you must hold an Annual Practicing Certificate which costs NZ $500 every year

HOW DO I INTERVIEW AND SECURE A ROLE?

Once you have your registration we will organize a phone call with you to discuss roles and locations so that you get the best fit. We will then pass you onto our partners for Skype or phone interviews so that you can secure a role before you leave.

We will make sure you understand the role/company and receive the correct salary for your level of experience
HOW WILL I GET SET UP/ WHAT ABOUT ACCOMMODATION?

Once you have secured a role we can introduce you to other physios that may be working in the same location and advise you on everything you need to know about moving to New Zealand, we are also always available before you leave/ when you arrive if you have any questions about the move.

Most physios book an Air B&B or hostel for 2 weeks while they look around share houses - we would really recommend this as it is a great way to meet new people - we would also really recommend joining a sports team!
