🔄 December 2024 Update: The Temporary Skills Shortage Visa (482) has been replaced by the Skills in Demand Visa. (482)
Key Change:
- The work experience requirement has been reduced from 2 years to 1 year, making this visa more accessible for junior professionals.

PHYSIOS – SKILLS ASSESSMENT UPDATE FOR PR VISAS
🔄 November 2024 Update:The Australian Physio Council (APC) has revised the requirements for the Skills Assessment, essential for certain permanent residency visa applications (e.g., Skilled Visas 189/190).
What You Need to Know:
- New Requirement for Trans-Tasman Agreement:
- If you gained registration through the NZ route (but did not complete your degree in NZ), you now need 2 years of physiotherapy experience in NZ to apply for a Skills Assessment in Australia.
